spencer's butte

 We took advantage of Christmas break & took a family hike up Spencer's Butte.

I was excited to try out my new camera & lenses!

 The boys were excited that we brought giant lollipops for the hike!

Unfortunately, Cedar ignored my advice & jumped off a log.  He was very disappointed to slip & fall to his knees, getting his pants & hands very muddy.  :(  He whined for the next 10 minutes or so that he wanted to change his pants.  :\

 We made it to the top!

 We cooled down very quickly!

Another hiker offered to take our photo.  I'm glad we got one last happy shot before more whining began.  Finn also slipped & fell into a mud puddle.  His shoes & gloves were soaked & he got VERY cold.  We were all happy when we made it back to the heater in our car.  ;)
