On Thursday, March 1st, I roasted my first turkey! I picked it up in November, when it was nearly free from a Thanksgiving sale, & have saved it in the freezer until now. We invited our friends (the Gosses & Williamses) to a Spring Thanksgiving & they brought their favorite Thanksgiving sides to share.
Carving our first turkey!
The spread:
Stuffing, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, green bean casserole, gravy, carrots & turkey! Plus a pumpkin pie for dessert! :)
Sweet photo of Alma & her dad, Jesse.
We used the china! So fancy. ;)
Group photo! Finn & Cedar sat at the kid's table. :P
Around the grown-up table: Kenton, Katrina, Jesse, Carolyn, Jacque & Stu
Jesse had a turkey leg to himself!
So did Stu!
Kenton prefers to his meat off the bone. :P
It was so super tasty & the perfect amount of time between the actual holiday & our Spring feast! Thanks for sharing in the food & festivity friends! :)

March has been full of crazy weather! I found these photos on my camera (taken by Kenton?) & thought the lighting was cool.
I think my camera's white balance was set for indoor light, so it looks super blue here!
Different white balance setting, but I liked how this one looked too. :)
Happy Spring! Bring on the crazy, Oregon Spring weather!

That was such an awesome and delicious dinner! We should definitely make it a tradition to have Thanksgiving dinner not on Thanksgiving!
