On the 4th day of our stay-cation (
is that word annoying anyone else yet?), we started off the morning at the library for preschool story time! But I didn't get any pictures cause I was self conscious. Finn was pretty shy - more so than I expected. He didn't sing along with the songs or get up & dance along with the class. But he's been talking about it a lot ever since, so I know he had a good time.

After story time, we walked over to the Farmer's Market. Ever since reading
this, I've been really into supporting our local farmers! :)

We've managed to hit the Market every week for the last month - which is way better than we've ever done before. Plus, I've prepared broccoli & green beans for Kenton in a way that he actually enjoys! Yay for more vegetables in the house! We've been enjoying strawberries for the last month too - so tasty.

We met up with Stu & Jacque at a new burger place called
Dickey Jo's! They compared the burgers to
In-N-Out so we had to check it out.

We were quite pleased! :P

Finn had the best PBJ ever, on homemade bread.

The burgers were very tasty, but a bit more spendy than In-N-Out. I guess you have to pay the big bucks up here to get a taste of SoCal. :P It was worth it, but Kenton called it a "sometimes food." Probably smart to only eat burgers & fries
sometimes, anyway. :)

Wow! Sounds yummy! I'm glad you're having a good stay-cation. :)
Haha, thanks for meeting us for lunch. It was definitely a nice break from all the cleaning for us! And it was very yummy. I still think I like In & Out better though...;-)
we went to DickieJo's last night! Found out the meaning of "Lucky '52"-
the year the owners' parents met and had their 1st date.(-:) We agree with you, Kenton-it's "sometime food". We liked the homemade buns, bread too.
